Five Words To Change The World… – Tomorrow’s World youtube.com

Ryan Welsh Ryan Welsh 3 years ago in Law

Our world is overcome with corruption, murder, theft, disease, hunger, abuse, greed, pollution, poverty, broken marriages and families – simply put, we live in a world of pain and suffering. Five simple words would completely transform life as we know it – “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matt 22:37-40) This simple command encompasses and addresses what so many desire – true peace. It’s not a complicated endeavor. God is love and to emulate His character, which is contained within this phrase would result in prosperity, good health, and peace.

Highlighted in this video are four principles in loving your neighbor. First is keeping the commandments, and namely, but not limited to, the last six of the ten commandments. Honor your parents, do not: murder, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet. This alone would solve most of the world’s problems. Second principle is to serve one another. To have a mind of outward concern and service especially for those in need. Third, we need to learn to give with sincerity not for show. To give of the heart not selfishly for the praise and admiration of others. And the final principle is to view every human as God views them. We are to search out everyone’s value as God sees it.

This simple truth will be rejected by most because most of the world has rejected God. Fortunately, the benefits of this phrase and the principles behind it are still available for those who pursue and practice it daily.
